History
A village of Bowerston was settled in the early 1800's by Barnhard Bower & his brother John. Whilst it foremost moved to the metropolitan area, deuce mills were already build upon the south side of Conotton Creek. a single mill was a sawmill, the more a gristmill, & inside 1804, it began to rebuild the mills. Within 1816, a class action settlement known as Arbour's Mills was placed out & late it was known as Bowersville & eventually Bowerston. Bowerstaround was platted by David Bower, Henry Hoover, & Nathaniel Bower on August 21, 1851 & was filed in court August Two, 1852. A village was incorporated April Two, 1883.
